I actually did this piece 2 years ago. We had to choose any book to do a cover for, and I found this one tucked away at the book store, and knew it would lend itself to an interesting illustration. I also had a feeling it was going to become a very popular series, but I never imagined it would become as famous as it has with its own tv series and everything.
